Tribute to Former Lion President Louis Bull

I wish to inform you that Former President of Lions Eastleigh (1981-82) Louis Bull has passed away at the age of 88 on Good Friday. He left us peacefully in his sleep at the Birches Nursing Home in Totton.
I would doubt that there are many in the current line up of Lions that would remember him but any that do would be welcome to attend a memorial service, in his honour, later this year when the lockdown has finished.

Louis took his role within the Club very seriously, supporting the club, giving freely his time and resources from his Transport business. He also enjoyed the many social functions and fund raising activities such as Boxing and Horse Racing nights with Barbara, my Brother and I attending.

His installation as President was a night that I and our family will never forget although our memory was a bit fuzzy the next morning!

He will be remembered for his diligence, unwavering loyalty, serious regard for those less fortunate than himself, but also his great sense of fun and enjoyment of hosting social events with his fellow Lions.

If anybody should wish to attend his memorial service please let me know via email nigel-bull@sky.com
